Job Summary:
Manage planning and purchasing teams across multiple manufacturing locations. This role is critical to ensuring material availability, optimizing production schedules, and driving internal supply chain process improvements. While the primary focus will be on managing and enhancing internal operations—particularly in scheduling, planning, and procurement- the role also contributes to sourcing and supplier development initiatives in coordination with the broader supply chain strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 45% - Purchasing Process: Ensure timely and accurate placement of purchase orders by the team. Resolve escalated supplier issues that may impact production. Drive the use of existing systems to improve accuracy, visibility, and accountability in purchasing workflows. 45% - Scheduling Process: Oversee and continuously improve production planning and scheduling processes, ensuring optimal material flow and production efficiency. Monitor inventory levels and work to improve inventory turns and working capital metrics (e.g., Days Inventory Outstanding). Ensure timely execution of MRP processes and alignment between procurement and production schedules. 10% - Collaborate with Sourcing and Supplier Development teams on cost savings projects, dual sourcing, and supply risk mitigation. Support supplier performance evaluations and initiatives aimed at improving lead time, pricing, or quality. Assist in on-boarding new suppliers and qualifying alternate materials where necessary.
Qualifications/Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field. A valid US driver's license and passport is necessary. Professional certification (e.g., CPP, CPSM, CIPS, Six Sigma, CPM, Scrum) is a plus 7+ years of experience in procurement, planning/scheduling, or supply management 5+ years of experience in managing teams. Previous experience in the manufacturing industry of acoustics products a plus. Knowledge of materials systems (i.e., purchasing, MRP, BOM structure, ERP, etc.) Proficient in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel, and data analytics; GlobalShop is a plus. Willingness to travel as needed.
