We are representing one of the nation’s leading privately held real estate investment and development firms. With a diverse, multi-asset portfolio spanning retail, office, industrial, hospitality, residential, and land holdings across 40+ states, this firm owns and manages tens of millions of square feet of commercial real estate.
They are currently seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney to join their legal team. This position plays a key role in supporting leasing, acquisition, and property operations through the review, negotiation, and execution of legal documents across a wide variety of real estate transactions.

Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with internal leasing teams to review and finalize lease terms with tenants and prospects; assist in drafting LOIs and reviewing use restrictions. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of real estate documents including leases, lease amendments, estoppels, waivers, SNDAs, and termination agreements. Present, revise, and manage internal feedback on new and existing lease deals, renewals, and modifications. Support acquisition and disposition activities by assisting with purchase and sale agreements and due diligence processes. Monitor lease obligations, exclusives, critical dates, and compliance with restrictive covenants. Provide legal guidance on tenant disputes, insurance claims, and lease enforcement. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate implementation of lease provisions. Support matters involving government incentives and eminent domain proceedings as needed. Maintain and update internal lease tracking systems and document logs.
Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree required with active bar admission. Minimum 5 years of experience practicing law, with a strong emphasis on commercial real estate. Proven expertise in contract negotiation and lease structuring. Ability to manage multiple files in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and legal document management systems.
