Position Overview: This is a permanent, high-impact opportunity for an experienced
Real Estate Attorney
to support
land acquisition, entitlement, and development
efforts for critical utility and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate brings deep experience with real estate transactions and has worked closely withdevelopers, landowners, municipalities, and regulatory agencies in Texas.

San Antonio, TX (Hybrid-2-3 days onsite) Salary:
$180-$210k Yearly Base
Key Responsibilities: Provide legal counsel on real estate transactions, including acquisitions, easements, permitting, and land use. Draft and negotiate agreements, including purchase and sale contracts, development agreements, leases, and easement documentation. Conduct due diligence related to title, zoning, environmental assessments, and land entitlements. Coordinate with internal teams, outside counsel, title companies, and local authorities to support infrastructure development. Interpret and advise on applicable laws, regulations, and local ordinances affecting land development and real estate assets. Support strategic land planning initiatives and ensure alignment with regulatory and business objectives.
Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active license to practice in Texas. Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate law, preferably with exposure to infrastructure, utility, or development projects. Strong understanding of Texas real estate law, land use regulations, permitting, and title matters. Proven ability to manage complex real estate transactions with multiple stakeholders. Excellent negotiation, communication, and drafting skills. Business-oriented approach with sound legal judgment.
