Position Summary: The Senior Workday Analyst will manage configuration, reporting, testing, and end-user support for Workday, with a primary focus on the Absence and Time Tracking modules. This role involves system enhancements, data integrity, troubleshooting, and collaboration with HR, payroll, and business partners to optimize HR technology processes.
Key Responsibilities:
System Administration & Support - Serve as a primary point of contact for Workday-related inquiries Manage the HRIS support desk, ensuring timely ticket resolution and customer communication Maintain data integrity across multiple HR systems
Configuration, Testing & Implementation - Configure and enhance Workday Absence and Time Tracking modules Support system upgrades, enhancements, and new feature adoption Create, document, and execute test plans for new configurations and releases Partner with HR and payroll on annual processes such as open enrollment, merit planning, and performance reviews
Reporting & Analytics - Develop, maintain, and enhance Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics tools Utilize calculated fields, matrix reports, and composite reports to deliver actionable insights Provide data-driven recommendations for process and system improvements
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in IT, HR, Accounting, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience) 5+ years in HR systems administration, with at least 3 years in Workday Strong expertise in Workday Absence and Time Tracking configuration Proficiency in custom Workday reporting, including calculated fields and composite reports Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas, charting) Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
