We are seeking an experienced

Lead Buyer

to oversee indirect spend management across multiple sites within a regional hub. This strategic role supports sourcing initiatives aligned with corporate goals and business group requirements. The Lead Buyer will serve as a key contact for internal stakeholders and lead sourcing activities to drive value through cost reduction, compliance, and supplier performance.

Lead Buyer Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary procurement contact for sites within the hub. Develop and implement an annual sourcing plan tailored to specific site needs. Capture all indirect spend, executing competitive bids, spot buys, and ensuring alignment with preferred supplier contracts. Facilitate contract implementation, manage supplier performance evaluations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Lead cross-functional sourcing teams to support strategic purchasing projects. Contribute to category management by gathering site-level business needs and enforcing contract compliance. Utilize Strategic Sourcing Methodology (SSM) to reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and increase value creation. Ensure compliance with SHE (Safety, Health, Environment), security, and operational excellence requirements. Lead Buyer Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in indirect purchasing, business intelligence, or marketing & sales. Proven negotiation and contract management skills. Strong knowledge of procurement practices, supplier relationship management, and indirect category sourcing. Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multi-site sourcing initiatives. Knowledge of regulatory and security compliance standards (e.g., DOT, IATA, IMDG, FIFRA) preferred. Change management expertise and the ability to drive stakeholder buy-in at various organizational levels.
