Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Curtain Wall CAD Drafter to join our team. This role involves creating precise technical drawings and shop details for curtain wall, storefront, and door systems using AutoCAD. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of architectural and structural drawings and experience collaborating with engineering and project teams. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed shop drawings and fabrication details for curtain wall, storefront, and door systems using AutoCAD. Interpret architectural and structural plans to develop accurate layouts and sections. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, BIM team, and fabrication teams to ensure compliance with design intent and specifications. Revise and update drawings based on design changes, RFIs, and client feedback. Maintain organized drawing files and ensure adherence to company drafting standards. Assist in material take-offs and provide technical support during the submittal process.

Qualifications Experience: 3–5 years in drafting and detailing curtain wall, storefront, and door systems. Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit or other BIM tools is a plus. Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings. Experience with shop drawing submittals and fabrication coordination. Understanding of aluminum framing systems and glass specifications. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. Knowledge of industry standards and building codes related to glazing and façade systems. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Ability to prioritize and plan work to meet agreed-upon deadlines Our candidate must currently live in the USA
