The Operational Excellence Engineer Intern will provide support to the OpEx Engineering team to help drive the Lean transformation and quality improvement initiatives in manufacturing by ensuring strategies are implemented and principles/practices/tools are incorporated into the manufacturing processes. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, adaptability, and a willingness to work in a collaborative team environment are skills that will support a high level of success in this position. Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, or other related field of study. 0 to 2 years of related work experience Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills Related project work or previous internship a plus Appreciation and awareness for Manufacturing demand and prioritization Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook Knowledge Lean Manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement-based tools and techniques a plus
