Tariff Import/Export Coordinator

Role Summary: Key Responsibilities: Audit import/export documentation to ensure customs compliance and regulatory accuracy. Liaise with brokers and freight forwarders to streamline customs clearance. Review and assign appropriate tariff codes (HTS) for imports/exports. Enter data into internal systems for shipment tracking and audit readiness. Investigate and resolve issues with broker billing, freight documents, and customs delays. Coordinate all activities with 3rd-party logistics providers and vendors. Assist in internal/external audits and prepare related documentation and reports. Support process improvements and compliance in shipping operations. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent work experience. Strong knowledge of customs and international trade regulations (US Imports/Exports). Hands-on experience with ACE system or similar customs platforms. Excellent communication, attention to detail, and analytical skills. Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Outlook), ERP familiarity, and accurate data entry. Customer-focused, self-starter, and able to adapt in fast-paced environments.
