Safety & EHS Manager.

The Safety & EHS Manager leads the development and execution of environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance and foster a proactive safety culture. This role drives continuous improvement in EHS performance and supports operational excellence across the facility.

Key Responsibilities Lead the development, implementation, and enforcement of EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards. Conduct regular inspections, audits, and investigations to identify risks, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement. Provide guidance and training to managers, supervisors, and employees on safety practices, regulatory requirements, and incident prevention. Manage incident reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes, including workers’ compensation claims. Oversee EHS documentation, reporting, and metrics tracking (e.g., energy, waste, water, KPIs). Coordinate EHS committees, training programs, and external audits, and serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies and consultants.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering required; equivalent experience considered. 3–5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations. Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Smartsheet. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
