Lebanon, Indiana (on-site) Level:
Principal Scientist equivalent – senior technical leadership role Focus:
Lead and strengthen process safety programs in a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing/lab environment, specifically with hazardous chemicals.
Core Must-Haves Degree:
Bachelor’s (minimum) in
engineering
(chemical/mechanical preferred), occupational safety, or equivalent science discipline. Experience:
6–8+ years in
process safety
within
pharma manufacturing
OR other highly regulated hazardous chemical industries (chemical manufacturing, petrochemical, specialty chemicals, nuclear, high-containment API, etc.).
Technical Depth: Chemical unit process operations OSHA PSM & EPA RMP regulatory compliance PSM/RMP tools (PHA/HAZOP, Facility Siting, MOC) Equipment reliability & mechanical integrity Root Cause Analysis leadership Leadership:
Ability to lead safety programs and technical teams. Track Record:
Preferably has
helped stand up or mature a process safety function
in a lab or manufacturing setting.
Strong Plus Professional Engineering (PE) license or Safety Certifications (CSP, CCPSC). Experience integrating process safety into
capital projects . Global
process safety auditing exposure.
