In this leadership role, you'll drive funding efforts that directly support the College’s Strategic Plan and institutional priorities—from writing and managing external grants to leading our internal Grants for Innovation program.
You’ll collaborate with college leadership, faculty, staff, and external partners to pursue funding opportunities, develop proposals, and ensure regulatory compliance.
What You'll Do: Lead pre- and post-award grant processes Manage timelines, budgets, and reporting Support and train faculty/staff on grant processes Supervise a full-time Grant Associate Represent HCC in professional groups and foundation presentations
What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree 5+ years in grant planning and implementation Strong knowledge of federal grant compliance (Uniform Guidance) Exceptional writing, collaboration, and project management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including SharePoint and Teams Preferred: Higher ed experience, Grant certifications, and Supervisory experience
