PeopleSoft Business Analyst Detroit, MI 6+ Months Contract

The PeopleSoft Business Analyst will support the planning and execution of PeopleSoft ERP initiatives across the district. This role will work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, assess business needs, and translate them into actionable specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience with PeopleSoft HCM, Finance, or other ERP environments and a strong understanding of ERP business processes in a K–12 or public sector setting. Key Responsibilities: Partner with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for PeopleSoft projects. Draft, review, and document business processes, aligning them with ERP best practices. Translate requirements into actionable specifications and support solution design. Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend best practices. Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences and help stakeholders understand project impacts. Maintain collaborative relationships with technical staff, functional teams, and end-users. Engage stakeholders with professionalism, tact, and finesse, making users feel comfortable throughout the requirements and implementation process. Qualifications: Experience with PeopleSoft ERP (HCM, Finance, or other PeopleSoft modules). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Skilled in drafting, documenting, and aligning business processes with ERP best practices. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to translate technical language for non-technical audiences. Ability to build trust and work collaboratively across departments. Knowledge of ERP best practices in K–12, higher education, or the public sector is a plus.
