We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Senior Estimator
to join our dynamic team in the
commercial construction glazing industry . The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of glazing systems, construction processes, and estimating techniques. This role involves preparing accurate and detailed estimates for
large-scale commercial glazing projects , working closely with General Contractors (target customers), Architects, Vendors, and the Dynamic Glass PM, Ops, and Accounting departments.

Responsibilities: Review project drawings, specifications, addendums, schedules, and bid invite upfront documentation to determine project scope, material requirements, and labor costs. Analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring pricing is competitive and aligned with project needs. Negotiate contracts and cost pricing when necessary through collaboration/approval with management. Monitor and control project costs through the estimating process, ensuring that projects are awarded/contracted within budget. Recommend solutions for cost-saving measures without compromising quality through VE exercises. Identify potential risks and propose mitigating solutions, especially regarding materials, labor, timelines, and contract requirements. Provide ongoing support throughout the project lifecycle, including adjustments to estimates during the pre-construction phase and execution if required.
Required Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred). Minimum of 5 years experience in estimating for
commercial glazing industry , with at least 3 years in a senior estimator or leadership role. Strong knowledge of
glazing systems , materials, and installation methods. Proficiency in industry-standard estimating software. Track record of successfully estimating and negotiating large, complex projects. Analyze completed projects to compare estimated costs to actual costs and determine the reason for any discrepancies. Proficiency in Partner Pak/Gazier Studio, Bluebeam Construction Software, Microsoft Office, SalesForce or other similar CRM software is a plus. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations.
