The Warehouse, Logistics Operations Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing the company’s end-to-end logistics operations, including warehousing, order fulfillment, and transportation. This role oversees daily operations and ensures the overall performance, efficiency, and profitability of the logistics function

Key responsibilities include managing warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate order processing, and optimizing transportation routes and delivery performance. The manager will collaborate with internal teams to develop growth plans, set operational goals, and allocate resources to meet service and financial objectives. The core focus of this role is building and retaining a high-performing team by recruiting, training, and developing associates while implementing best practices, standard operating procedures, and continuous improvement strategies. This position requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to operational excellence, safety, and alignment with company values.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and direct warehouse operations (including shipping, receiving, put-away and returns) while implementing and maintaining best‑practice policies and procedures to ensure efficient, scalable and compliant logistics operations. Develop and apply a continuous‑improvement model that fosters staff growth, engagement and productivity, ensuring daily operations meet customer volume expectations and seasonal demands while achieving or exceeding service metrics. Recruit, train and retain high‑performing warehouse and logistics personnel, and establish a culture of ownership and accountability that promotes a stakeholder mindset at all levels of the operation. Provide ongoing feedback, coaching and performance evaluations to drive individual and team development, ensuring a supportive and high‑performing workforce. Continuously evaluate and improve space utilization and layout planning across all fulfillment locations, and monitor and assess operational workflows to optimize labor, inventory flow and order accuracy. Oversee all inbound and outbound domestic transportation activities, ensuring they meet cost and service objectives. Ensure inventory accuracy through process controls, audits and staff accountability, and collaborate with technology teams to implement and enhance warehouse and logistics systems.Champion a “Safety First” culture through strong programs, policies and employee engagement, and always ensure adherence to safety regulations and internal protocols. Maintain proactive and effective communication with internal stakeholders and business units and collaborate across departments to align logistics performance with broader company objectives. Lead and execute special initiatives aimed at enhancing operational capabilities, scalability and customer satisfaction.

Abilities, Knowledge and skills

Bachelor's Degree preferred. 8-14 years of progressive experience managing 3PL, warehouse operations, logistics services and transportation ONLY. (Resumes without 8 plus years of domain experience will be automatically rejected) Demonstrated mastery of high-volume order fulfillment via domestic & international small volume parcel carriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.), LTL and FTL loads. Experience with Ecommerce platforms and systems – WMS (Logiwa, Extensive, etc) MS Excel and any related ERP tools experience is a must.
