Position Summary
Our MEP Consulting firm is seeking an
Electrical Engineer
to design and manage building electrical systems including power, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems. Ideal candidates will be licensed P.E.s or EITs on track for licensure in Texas. Strong
Revit proficiency
is essential, as we utilize BIM across all design phases.

Key Responsibilities Design electrical systems (power, lighting, emergency power, fire alarm, structured cabling). Develop construction documents using
Revit
and AutoCAD. Perform load calculations, one-line diagrams, and specification writing. Conduct field visits, respond to RFIs, and support construction administration. Coordinate closely with internal MEP teams and external architects and consultants. Mentor junior staff and support project delivery from concept to close-out.
Qualifications Required: B.S. in Electrical Engineering. PE license in Texas or EIT status with PE exam eligibility. 3–7 years of experience in MEP electrical design. Proficiency in Revit
and AutoCAD. Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IECC, and other applicable codes. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred: Texas P.E. license (strongly preferred). Familiarity with SKM, AGI32, or lighting/power analysis tools. Experience in sectors like education, healthcare, and commercial. LEED, energy modeling, or sustainable design experience.
