Conflicts Attorney
to join its
Conflicts and Intake team . This position plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with legal ethics and risk management practices, supporting offices across the United States.

The Conflicts Attorney can sit in any of the following locations: Boston, MA, Chesterbrook, PA, Minneapolis, MN, Pittsburgh, PA, Los Angeles, CA, New York, NY, Wilmington, DE, Chicago, IL, Philadelphia, PA, Princeton, NJ, West Palm Beach, FL, Irvine, CA, Baltimore, MD, Harrisburg, PA, Newark, NJ, Miami, FL, Washington, DC, Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
Required Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD)
from an accredited law school. Active Bar membership
in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. 2+ years of experience
as a
conflicts attorney
in a
corporate law firm
environment. Familiarity with
Intapp Conflicts ,
Intapp Open , and
conflicts database systems . Experience with
Aderant
is a plus. Strong working knowledge of
conflict databases ,
legal ethics rules , and
risk management principles . Proficiency in
Microsoft Office Suite
(Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Exceptional
attention to detail , with the ability to identify subtle risks and develop clear, actionable solutions. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage urgent matters on short notice. Ability to communicate effectively, sound judgment, and a professional demeanor. Capable of mentoring and supervising support staff as needed.
Key Responsibilities Review and analyze
conflict check reports
generated in connection with
business intake
and
new hire onboarding . Identify and assess potential
legal conflicts of interest
and
business relationship risks ; provide comprehensive analysis and guidance to firm attorneys and leadership. Collaborate with
firm partners ,
counsel , and other key stakeholders to resolve identified conflicts and implement appropriate resolutions. Draft, review, and manage
conflict waivers ,
ethical walls , and
legal screens
to maintain compliance and confidentiality standards. Advise and support a team of
conflict specialists
on best practices, including
corporate family research
and intake procedures. Provide expert-level guidance on
conflicts of interest policies ,
business intake protocols , and
firm procedures
to attorneys and administrative staff. Assist with the drafting and editing of
engagement letters
and other standard documentation. Respond to time-sensitive matters and be available for urgent issues, including occasional evenings and weekends. Support ongoing process improvements and contribute to
ad hoc projects
in collaboration with the firm’s
risk management
and
compliance teams .
