About the Position
Pond & Company is currently seeking an experienced Scheduler to support our growing Federal Facilities team, delivering mission-critical work for key clients including the Department of Defense (DoD) and other federal agencies. This individual will play a pivotal role in the development, analysis, and oversight of facility construction schedules across a wide portfolio of complex, multidisciplinary programs.

The successful candidate will bring hands-on Primavera P6 expertise, a deep understanding of federal construction scheduling standards, and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical disciplines and client stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Create, update, and manage detailed facility construction schedules using Primavera P6 Develop baseline schedules and provide ongoing updates, including recovery and mitigation schedules as needed Analyze schedule performance, identify impacts, and support Time Impact Analysis (TIA) development Coordinate with engineers, project managers, subcontractors, and government stakeholders to ensure schedule alignment with contractual scope and milestones Ensure full compliance with USACE scheduling policies and standards, including required formatting and reporting structures Integrate and manage SDEF export/import processes between P6 and government systems Input and maintain scheduling data in Resident Management System (RMS) or other government-approved platforms Provide schedule training and mentorship to project teams and junior staff Support schedule-related quality control/quality assurance (QA/QC) across assigned programs Collaborate across large, multidisciplinary teams delivering federal facility construction projects
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related field (6 years of directly related scheduling experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree) Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a facility construction scheduling role using Primavera P6 for project planning, contract management, and/or production management Strong working knowledge of construction methods, contract administration, and project delivery processes for vertical facilities Proficiency in creating, updating, and manipulating P6 schedules independently Experience with USACE engineering regulations and scheduling compliance requirements Prior experience using Resident Management System (RMS) schedule modules or similar systems, including managing SDEF file transfers Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex scheduling data Demonstrated ability to work effectively within large, diverse project teams in a federal contracting environment Ability to train others in scheduling techniques and analytical tools
