Salary:
$200,000 - 260,000 base.
Position Overview: We are working with a real estate investment firm with a strong track record of acquiring, managing, and developing multifamily assets across the United States. They are seeking an experienced
Transactional Assistant General Counsel
to support their growing portfolio and strategic expansion.
Key Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of real estate transaction documents, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, and joint venture agreements. Advise on legal aspects of acquisitions, financings, dispositions, and ongoing asset management. Coordinate with outside counsel and manage legal costs effectively. Conduct legal due diligence on prospective acquisitions and development projects. Support the Private Equity structuring of any transaction as it relates to the business.
Qualifications required: J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. Minimum of 7+ years of experience in real estate law, with a strong focus on transactions (private practice or in-house). Understanding of the Corporate side of
Private Equity
that is involved in Real Estate transactions / the structuring of deals.
