As a Senior Imagery Analyst, you will support the Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA) with Full Spectrum GEOINT (FSG) analysis and production. Your work will focus on providing imagery science expertise in Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), Thermal Infrared, Spectral, Geospatial, OPIR, Moving Target Indicator (MTI), Photogrammetry, and Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR). You will also provide key recommendations on operational GEOINT architectures, processes, and techniques to analysts, operators, and managers.
Responsibilities Provide imagery science expertise supporting advanced GEOINT analysis and assessments. Deliver technical analytical expertise in support of
FSG analysis and production . Offer guidance and recommendations on
GEOINT architectures
and methodologies. Develop program strategies, briefings, and senior-level correspondence for
MCIA and HQ USMC leadership . Support the development of
collection strategies
for both standing and emerging FSG capabilities. Train and mentor military and civilian analysts on advanced remote sensing techniques. Assist in the
fusion of GEOINT data
with other intelligence disciplines, including HUMINT, SIGINT, OSINT, and MASINT. Conduct research and provide technical insights on
sensor applications, processing techniques, and geospatial problem sets . Analyze and conduct statistical assessments on imagery datasets. Collaborate across
IC agencies, NSG functional managers, and commercial partners
to enhance GEOINT capabilities. Evaluate commercial and academic algorithms for potential intelligence applications.
Qualifications Master’s degree
in a relevant field and
12+ years of experience , or a
Bachelor’s degree
with
17+ years of experience . Active TS or TS/SCI security clearance (required). Demonstrated expertise in
GEOINT analysis , including experience in one or more sensor disciplines: SAR, OPIR, Thermal, MTI, Spectral, Photogrammetry, or LIDAR. Proven ability to
analyze intelligence operations, evaluate methodologies, and define research approaches . Strong ability to work
independently and with minimal oversight . Experience
reviewing and ensuring analytical rigor
in intelligence products. Knowledge of
GEOINT tools, software suites, and collection strategies . Strong written and verbal
communication skills , with experience briefing senior officials. Nice to Haves Recent experience (within the last
two years ) in a
GEOINT-related role . Familiarity with
MCIA and USMC intelligence operations . Experience with
geospatial data fusion and multi-INT integration . Knowledge of emerging remote sensing technologies and methodologies.
