Position Summary We’re partnering with a respected manufacturing client in Hudson, WI to hire a Materials Supervisor. In this role, you’ll oversee the daily materials handling operations including shipping, receiving, inventory movement, and team coordination. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step into a leadership role with visibility and advancement potential.
What You’ll Do: Supervise day-to-day materials flow, prioritize tasks, and assign responsibilities to meet production demands. Promote a culture of safety through regular coaching, audits, and participation in emergency response activities. Train and develop team members, assist with onboarding, and provide coaching and recognition. Monitor materials KPIs such as inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and shipping/receiving timeliness. Ensure ERP data integrity (Epicor Kinetic preferred) and assist in system training for new or existing employees. Support plant operations by providing shift coverage, assisting with cross-department initiatives, and collaborating with leadership. Operate and train others in safe forklift operation in accordance with OSHA requirements. What You Bring: Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment with leadership experience. Computer proficiency, including MS Office and ERP systems (Epicor Kinetic a plus) Ability to safely operate and train on forklift equipment Preferred Skills: Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Six Sigma tools Experience working with or supervising contingent labor Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Excellent attendance and dependability Why This Opportunity?
