Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated In Vivo Technician with hands-on expertise in preclinical oncology mouse models to join our research team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in murine handling and dosing, along with a solid background in in vivo experimental procedures. This role will involve working with various mouse models to support studies in oncology, immunology, and inflammation.

Key Responsibilities: Perform routine murine handling procedures including: Dosing via IV, IP, PO, and subcutaneous routes Tumor implantation and measurements In-life and terminal blood collection Tissue collection during necropsy and processing for ex vivo analysis Accurately document and manage study data, with preferred experience using StudyLog software Maintain detailed records of all procedures and ensure compliance with internal protocols and regulatory guidelines Collaborate closely with research scientists to execute in vivo studies and provide high-quality data Participate in general lab maintenance and support animal facility operations as needed
Qualifications: 5+ years of direct experience working in a laboratory animal facility Demonstrated expertise with murine models in oncology, inflammation, and/or immunology Proficient in multiple dosing techniques and animal handling procedures Familiarity with USDA regulations, animal welfare guidelines, and AAALAC International standards (preferred but not required) Experience with the following is highly desired: StudyLog or similar data collection platforms Tissue culture techniques In vivo imaging technologies (e.g., IVIS, PET, MRI) Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team Comfortable working in a fast-paced and highly collaborative research environment Excellent organizational and time management skills
