Materials & Supply Chain Manager – Direct Hire

NOTE:
This is a hands-on managerial role. Must be comfortable working side-by-side with warehouse, purchasing, and logistics staff to meet organizational goals.

The Position • Lead and mentor purchasing, warehouse, and logistics staff • Oversee procurement, vendor negotiations, and import/export compliance • Manage shipping, receiving, and stockroom operations • Implement and monitor inventory controls and “just-in-time” practices • Partner with engineering and production teams to ensure material availability • Drive cost savings and supplier performance improvements • Track supplier quality issues and manage corrective actions • Maintain accurate records, including price histories and ERP/SAP system data
The Detail • $98K–$120K+ base, full benefits, 401(k) with match, profit sharing, PTO, summer hours • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or materials management • Strong leadership skills with a hands-on management style • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office Suite • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills • Excellent organizational and communication skills • BS in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
