Position Summary Plan2Placement is partnering with a leading Property Management company in Los Angeles to find a detail-oriented and driven

Financial Analyst

to join their team. This role plays a key part in supporting the financial operations and performance strategy of a diverse portfolio of multifamily and commercial properties. The Financial Analyst will work onsite at the company’s Los Angeles office, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver financial insights that drive operational and investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities Analyze financial performance of real estate assets, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities across the portfolio. Build and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and investment planning. Collaborate with property management, asset management, and accounting teams to track and improve financial KPIs. Provide variance analyses and financial commentary for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles. Assist with capital planning, ROI modeling, and sensitivity/scenario analysis. Conduct market research and benchmarking to support strategic and operational decisions. Prepare executive-level financial reports and presentation materials. Support the annual budget process and mid-year reforecasting efforts. Ensure data accuracy through coordination with accounting and property operations teams.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or Master’s is a plus). 3–7 years of experience as a financial analyst, preferably in real estate, property management, or a related industry. Strong Excel skills (modeling, pivot tables, lookups) and familiarity with financial systems and reporting tools. Experience with Yardi, MRI, or similar property management software is a plus. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with great attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Team player with a high degree of accountability and professionalism. Must be comfortable working in a fully in-office environment in Los Angeles.
