We are seeking a talented and driven Mechanical Engineer to join a cutting-edge robotics team focused on developing innovative hardware solutions for next-generation robotic systems. In this role, you will contribute to the design and enhancement of complex electro-mechanical systems, contributing to the advancement of automation and intelligent systems. The ideal candidate is passionate about mechanical design, thrives in a collaborative environment, and has a strong foundation in high-volume manufacturing processes while adhering to engineering best practices. We are looking for someone who demonstrates exceptional communication skills, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong sense of ownership and a bias for action—someone who consistently drives projects forward with clarity and accountability. Responsibilities Provide technical leadership in mechanical engineering across multiple projects. Design and develop advanced robotic vision and compute systems. Lead the end-to-end development of complex electro-mechanical and optical systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to take products from concept through production, including specification, prototyping, validation, and testing. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence. Partner with operations, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure smooth product launches and ongoing support. Author technical documentation including specifications, test plans, and verification procedures. Demonstrate ownership and accountability throughout the product lifecycle. Develop holistic hardware solutions for evolving and ambiguous requirements. Lead supplier selection and manufacturing process decisions through vendor engagement. Essential Skills Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Proficiency in CAD tools such as

SolidWorks , with experience in part design and complex assemblies. Hands-on experience building prototypes and proof-of-concept models. Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and their application to product design. Excellent communication and technical writing skills. Experience managing full product development lifecycles and meeting project milestones. Ability to evaluate trade-offs in design, performance, and logistics. Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive results in a fast-paced environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Experience with FEA tools such as SolidWorks Simulation or ANSYS. Background in designing and sustaining complex mechanical systems. Familiarity with ANSI Y-14.5 standards for documentation. Experience with tooled components (e.g., injection molding, casting, stamping). Knowledge of electronics packaging and sensor integration. Experience in automation or robotic system design. Proven track record of improving existing product performance. Proficiency with PLM systems and engineering change orders (ECOs). Strong organizational and team collaboration skills. Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, agile development environment. Work Environment This role is based in a hands-on lab environment rather than a traditional quiet office setting. Candidates should be comfortable working in a space with moderate background noise and active equipment in use.
