Engineering Changes Coordinator , where you’ll play a critical role in supporting product evolution and process excellence for high-impact automotive clients like Tesla and FCA. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in cross-functional collaboration, possess a strong understanding of engineering documentation, and are driven by precision, communication, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities Lead Technical Change Management: Receive, review, and evaluate internal and external technical change requests. Coordinate cross-functional meetings to assess logistics and production impacts. Collaborate with clients (e.g., Tesla) to clarify needs and provide timely feedback. Quoting & Negotiations: Prepare cost estimates for technical changes and negotiate with stakeholders. Monitor and follow up on submitted quotes and purchase orders (POs). Documentation & System Maintenance: Manage and maintain documentation for closed orders (Ocs), investments, and new part numbers. Support structural analysis to ensure accurate component tracking for pre-series builds.

Project & Pre-Series Coordination: Oversee materials and logistics for pre-series production runs. Issue engineering alerts related to pre-series and technical changes. Act as project lead for US5 and similar launch activities.

Client & Supplier Liaison: Maintain close communication with Tesla, DT, Logistics, and pre-series teams. Coordinate shipping, collections, and part deliveries in collaboration with planning and warehouse teams. Respond to FCA system tickets and lead meetings with client representatives.

Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to industry standards including IATF 16949:2016, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 50001:2018, ISO 14001, and PASST. Monitor and contribute to the company’s quality, safety, environmental, and energy management systems.

Continuous Improvement: Participate in Lean initiatives and continuous improvement programs. Propose and implement process enhancements to exceed customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field. 2+ years of experience in change management, document control, or technical coordination (preferred). Proficient in SAP and understanding of engineering drawings, PDM, and CAD tools. Solid knowledge of automotive customer requirements and product development processes. Familiarity with quality standards: IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001. Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Detail-oriented with high standards for accuracy and data integrity. Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Proficiency in 8D problem-solving and risk-based thinking methodologies.
