The New York State Unified Court System Appellate Division 3rd Department is recruiting for one (1) position in the
Attorney Series.
The position will be filled in one of the following titles and will be dependent on the qualifications and experience of the applicant selected:
Associate Attorney, Senior Attorney, or Attorney.

The Attorney will assist the Director of the Third Department's Office of Attorneys for Children in fulfilling the mission of the Office, namely, to administer quality legal services to children in Family Court proceedings and Supreme Court custody matters.
Key responsibilities: Office administration, with primary responsibility for the development and implementation of the Office's comprehensive continuing legal education program for attorneys designated to Attorneys for Children panels. Analyze, summarize and disseminate cases to panel members that are decided by the Third Department. Provide litigation support services to panel members. Review and evaluate panel attorneys' work product, including appellate briefs.
Qualifications:
Associate Attorney:
Admission to the New York State Bar and two (2) years of service in the Senior Attorney title; or equivalent legal experience.
Base Salary:
$110,853
Senior Attorney:
Admission to the New York State Bar and two (2) years of service in the Attorney title; or equivalent legal experience.
Base Salary:
$99,490
Attorney:
Admission to the New York State Bar.
Base Salary:
$84,659
