Job Summary The Dispatch Team Lead is responsible for ensuring and providing office support and exercising administrative duties and is responsible for providing support, guidance, and direction to Dispatchers, ensuring that local data applicable to the production, management, and maintenance of effective and efficient schedules is well overseen and accurately maintained.

Responsibilities Assisting Operations Manager in the construction and development of the team SOPs and processes to help their team meet the dispatching requirements of the assigned portfolio. Contributing to the establishment and development of effective communication methods to support Dispatch management. Overseeing and managing dispatch processes, and assisting with all relevant internal audits Developing and maintaining effective, sound, and healthy communication with scheduling management and scheduling team. Act as liaison between management and team when necessary. Assisting with performance management data, scorecards, dashboards, and trackers Identifying the issues or risks that are associated with any aspect of dispatch and its supporting data, and suggesting appropriate recommendations or improvement strategies to support or tackle these issues Contributing to the development and management of training packages to ensure the effective use of information to boost performance Assisting the organization with staff training, implementation of new software functionality, ideas, and testing Assisting in the accurate reporting of dispatching data with the use of various tools and models. Support, guide, and advise remote Contract dispatch needs Keep the Operations Manager apprised of contract dispatch support by accurately communicating requests and/or tasks instructed of you by Contract Managers, including identifying and articulating any deficiencies or issues in a timely manner Assist team in dispatching responsibilities: contacting officers to cover any openings within 96 hours, facilitating shift change, contacting officers to cover any currently dark posts, etc.

Qualifications Adequate professional experience of working within scheduling or information area Excellent analytical skills, as a scheduling manager will be required to analyze information from a variety of sources which can be illustrated using text, graphics, charts, and spreadsheet presentation of information in a concise and comprehensive manner Ability to effectively work within a team with the ability to manage workload effectively Excellent and strong negotiation and persuasion skills, to facilitate schedule management in line with service need Sound communication skills, both written and verbal Adequate computer knowledge, including the use of spreadsheets and databases Organization and self-management skills to manage and lead a project accurately and effectively Ability to utilize information to foster the acceptance of change or development, and the ability to influence other regions to accept new practices.
