About the Role Supports the Grant Administrator and Finance team in managing all aspects of grant and contract financials, ensuring compliance with tribal, federal, state, and sponsor requirements.

Key Responsibilities: Partner with program managers to track grant and contract expenditures and ensure compliance with sponsor and tribal restrictions. Set up, monitor, and close grant accounts; prepare and submit termination reports. Assist with drawdowns, billings, reconciliations, and cash management. Contribute to quarterly close processes, developing policies and procedures to maintain accurate records. Maintain master checklist of reporting requirements and ensure timely submissions. Advise on proposal development, budgets, and applications. Produce monthly and annual financial reports for internal review. Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation. Maintain complete grant and contract file systems. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Required Skills : Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or business; bachelor’s preferred. Minimum of 3 years’ grants administration experience, preferably in a tribal or non-profit environment. Principles of grant and contract administration. Federal regulations (2 CFR 200), PL 638, and Indian Self-Determination Act. Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills Standard accounting practices and data analysis methods. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication. Effective problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple budgets. Valid Washington State driver’s license. Must pass background check, including no child-related offenses or felonies. Pre-employment urine analysis (UA) testing for illegal drugs in WA state
