a key offshore wind initiative, is seeking a dependable Onshore Support Coordinator to support shore-side operations from our Brooklyn base. This role is vital to the smooth handling of logistics, vessel support, and coordination with local service providers and port authorities. The ideal candidate will be locally based and able to work flexibly across a range of operational and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities: Coordinate equipment deliveries, cargo handling, and crew changes. Prepare cargo manifests and maintain accurate tracking of equipment. Arrange crew logistics (taxis, accommodation, local services). Procure consumables and operational materials locally. Manage customs clearance and import processes for project cargo. Liaise with shipping agents for port services including bunkering and waste removal. Provide onshore support during emergencies and operational disruptions. Act as liaison between the onshore team, port authorities, and contractors.
Requirements: Proven experience in logistics, marine operations, or port services. Strong organizational skills with clear and confident communication. Valid U.S. driving license.
Preferred Qualifications: Own vehicle and accommodation within the Brooklyn area. Familiarity with offshore wind or maritime industries. Experience coordinating with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) or similar agencies.
Additional Desirable Skills: Basic financial coordination: Familiarity with international payments, bank account setup, and arranging fund transfers (especially across borders). Visa and immigration support: Understanding of U.S. entry requirements and experience assisting with visa logistics for foreign workers. Taxation awareness: General knowledge of U.S. taxation matters, such as withholding taxes, local tax compliance, and income tax implications for foreign individuals or entities.
