July 2025 About the Role As a Strategic Supply Chain Buyer, you’ll manage $15–20 million in annual spend across key material groups. This role goes beyond transactional purchasing—it's about driving planning stability, supplier alignment, and system performance to support aggressive growth goals. Key Responsibilities Translate MRP signals into timely, cost-effective purchase orders Communicate with suppliers on pricing, delivery, and issue resolution Optimize ERP planning parameters (safety stock, lead times, reorder points) Analyze demand and inventory trends to identify risks and savings Collaborate with production, logistics, and warehouse teams Improve inventory health and reduce rush orders Support sourcing decisions with data-driven insights Participate in Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives Develop reporting tools to track performance and supplier adherence Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (MBA/certifications a plus) 5+ years of procurement experience in manufacturing or industrial settings Strong vendor negotiation and contract management skills Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel Proven success managing large-dollar spend and supplier relationships Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making abilities Additional Info Occasional travel (0–10%) to supplier sites Fast-paced environment with cross-functional collaboration Physical demands include frequent sitting, walking, and standing Ready to make a strategic impact?
