Mechanical Design Engineer | CAD • Python • Mechatronics • FEA • Prototyping
Responsibilities: Design, prototype, and test hardware systems Perform FEA (structural, thermal, vibration) and tolerance analysis Create detailed engineering drawings and documentation Collaborate across mechanical, electrical, and software teams Use hand tools, 3D printers, and fabrication methods for quick builds Drive projects from concept to execution, often juggling multiple priorities Requirements: BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience Experience with Creo or similar CAD tools (SolidWorks a plus) Ability to code in Python Has solid understanding of mechatronics Mechanical analysis and hands-on prototyping experience Strong communication & problem-solving skills
Nice to have: MS/PhD or 5+ years industry experience Robotics or electro-mechanical integration exposure Knowledge of microcontrollers, motors, and circuit testing
The expected salary range for this position is between $80K - $102K annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
