Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Location:
The Joshua School – Englewood Campus, CO Job Type:
Full-Time (40 hrs/week), M-F 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM weekday schedule Expected Hours:

Schedule:
Day shift, no weekends Salary Range:
65,000 - 85,000

Our Englewood campus is a CDE-approved facility school that partners with local districts to provide highly individualized, evidence-based education and therapy.
Role Summary: The SLP provides targeted, evidence-based interventions to support literacy, communication, and social engagement across academic, community, and vocational settings. This includes developing individualized plans, training staff, assessing student needs, and collaborating with classroom teams.
Key Responsibilities Intervention & Collaboration Develop and implement individualized communication and literacy interventions Design small-group and dyad activities to support speech and language goals Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families Train staff on AAC, social communication, and literacy strategies
Assessment & Planning Conduct formal/informal evaluations to determine communication profiles Create concise reports and make practical, team-friendly recommendations Recommend and support assistive technology as needed
Documentation & Progress Monitoring Maintain daily service notes and analyze data to inform programming Ensure accurate records for service accountability and reimbursement
Supervision & Team Engagement Supervise SLPAs in alignment with ASHA guidelines Participate in IEP/BIP meetings and classroom clinical discussions Support material/equipment needs and maintain inventory Stay current with relevant technology and therapeutic tools
Qualifications Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology Colorado SLP License + ASHA CCC Eligible to supervise SLPAs (2+ years post-CCC) CDE Special Services Provider License (preferred) Minimum 2 years experience with developmental disabilities Knowledge of ABA and autism-specific evidence-based practices
