Our client is seeking a
Procurement Operations Specialist
to help drive efficient and effective procure-to-pay operations. Projects You’ll Work On Oversee supplier onboarding, ensuring registration records are accurate, complete, and compliant. Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders while ensuring they meet all internal policy standards. Investigate and resolve invoice and purchase order discrepancies by collaborating with Accounts Payable, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Maintain and optimize procurement systems, including punchout catalogs and third-party ordering sites, while ensuring data accuracy and system updates. Monitor procurement-related communications and manage assigned actions from the procurement inbox. Track and reconcile Procurement Card transactions, verifying spending accuracy with internal teams. Step in to support the Procurement Operations Coordinator during peak workloads or absences.
What Experience You Should Bring Required: High School Diploma or equivalent. 3+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 1 year of hands-on procure-to-pay execution. Strong communication skills for working with suppliers and internal teams. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word. Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 4+ years of experience with procurement and ERP systems (e.g., Workday, e-Procurement platforms). Procurement certifications (CPSM, CPIM, or similar). Basic accounting knowledge. Ability to travel occasionally for team meetings, project work, or professional development.
