Role Summary: This is a full-time, on-site role for an experienced Facilities Manager with 10–12 years of hands-on experience in maintaining and managing tablet compression machines, gummy processing lines, and packaging machinery. The role requires round-the-clock oversight across three shifts, ensuring smooth operations with minimal downtime and full GMP compliance.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance of tablet compression machines, gummy production equipment, and packaging lines Lead the mechanical and electrical maintenance teams across all three shifts Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program (PMP) to reduce breakdown frequency and extend machine life Respond immediately to production equipment failures and coordinate swift resolutions to avoid downtime Maintain and service critical machinery including: Tablet press machines (e.g., Cadmach, Rimek) Gummy manufacturing kettles, cookers, depositors, dryers Encapsulation, coating, filling, and labelling machines Blenders, mixers, granulators, sievers, conveyors Ensure all equipment complies with GMP, safety, and operational standards Maintain detailed logs and documentation on machine breakdowns, repairs, and calibration Collaborate closely with Production, Quality Assurance, and Warehouse teams to align maintenance schedules with production planning Manage vendors for spare parts, AMC contracts, and service support

Required Skills & Experience: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering 10–12 years of experience in facility or engineering management within a nutraceutical, pharma, or food manufacturing plant Expertise in tablet manufacturing equipment and gummy processing machines Strong troubleshooting skills in both mechanical and electrical components Experience in handling utilities like HVAC, compressors, WTP, and ETP is a plus Good understanding of GMP, audit readiness, and safety protocols Willingness to support operations across multiple shifts (especially during critical breakdowns)
