What You’ll Be Doing:

Direct day-to-day operations of a multi-shift manufacturing department, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals are consistently met. Lead and mentor a team of supervisors and production staff, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and operational discipline. Analyze KPIs and production metrics to identify bottlenecks, drive improvements, and support plant-wide performance objectives. Partner cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and product development to support new product introductions and process validations. Implement and sustain lean manufacturing tools (5S, kaizen, root cause analysis, standard work, value stream mapping) to reduce waste and drive continuous improvement. Maintain and optimize material flow, resource planning, and workforce scheduling to align with demand while managing costs. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards; oversee hazardous material protocols as needed. Support capital planning initiatives, recommending equipment upgrades and technology enhancements to support operational scalability. What We’re Looking For: 3–5+ years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive or industrial production. Proven ability to lead teams in high-variation/high-velocity production settings. Track record of improving production metrics such as scrap, downtime, and labor utilization. Strong understanding of lean tools with hands-on implementation experience at the plant floor level. Experience managing departmental budgets, headcount planning, and performance tracking. Effective communicator and coach—capable of developing talent, resolving conflict, and building team cohesion. Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related experience in lieu of a degree.
