Job Description:
We are looking for a shipping and receiving clerk in the parts department at O.C. Welch Ford Lincoln, Inc. This position is responsible for checking in parts and stocking shelves, managing special order parts. We are looking for a team player to help with our growth.
Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damages, defects or discrepancies
Verify accuracy of shipment contents against purchase orders or invoices
Ensure proper storage and handling of incoming and outgoing parts
Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments
Operate forklift and other material handling equipment as needed
Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to safety in the workplace
Forklift license preferred, but willing to train
