Client Service Associate
RiversEdge is a fee-based financial planning, wealth management, tax and business advisory firm located in the heart of downtown Wilmington, DE. We are passionate about helping clients gain clarity and confidence in their financial future through thoughtful, strategic planning. This role is ideal for an experienced, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-touch client service while supporting our financial planning team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Relationship Management & Service Execution
Serve as a primary point of contact for high-value clients, ensuring a seamless and proactive client experience Manage and maintain client data, prepare financial plans, and assist in the implementation of financial strategies Handle service requests, troubleshoot client issues, and coordinate across account types and custodians Lead and document client meetings, ensuring timely and accurate follow-up and action item execution Process paperwork for account openings, transfers, and maintenance with precision and efficiency Coordinate the implementation of insurance and investment solutions in collaboration with advisors and custodian Ensure all documentation meets internal compliance standards and reflects current regulatory requirements Leadership & Operational Excellence
Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance client service delivery and internal efficiency Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge and communicate regulatory updates and best practices with the team Liaise between clients, advisors, and third-party providers to facilitate complex service and planning needs Embrace a collaborative, "all hands on deck" approach to supporting the team Represent RiversEdge professionally in all client and external communications QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance, business, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in a client service role within the financial services industry. Deep understanding of investment products, financial planning principles, and regulatory frameworks. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-first mindset. Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Familiarity with financial planning and CRM tools is a plus (e.g. eMoney, Riskalyze, Orion, Schwab, Salesforce). Self-starter with problem-solving ability and a desire to continuously learn and improve. BENEFITS
