Senior Sourcing Specialist

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in identifying, evaluating, and onboarding suppliers to support our procurement objectives. This role combines analytical insight, market expertise, and negotiation skills to enhance sourcing strategies and drive cost-effective solutions. Key Responsibilities: Supplier Relationship Management:

Build and nurture strong relationships with key suppliers to align with business goals and foster collaboration. Market Research & Analysis:

Conduct comprehensive market research to uncover sourcing opportunities, trends, and cost-saving initiatives. Sourcing Strategy Development:

Lead the creation and execution of sourcing strategies that align with company objectives, ensuring compliance and efficiency. Contract Negotiations:

Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, quality, and service terms. Risk Management:

Assess potential risks related to suppliers and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring supply chain stability. Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with teams across finance, operations, and quality assurance to ensure sourcing decisions align with broader business goals. Performance Monitoring:

Track supplier performance against key metrics and implement improvement actions as needed. Reporting & Analytics:

Prepare and deliver detailed sourcing reports, highlighting cost-saving opportunities and performance insights. Purchase Order Management:

Oversee purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of any issues with vending partners. Required Skills & Abilities: Advanced Excel proficiency and strong data analysis skills. Experience with ERP systems and analytics tools for procurement reporting. Proven project management and process improvement expertise. Strong problem-solving abilities focused on cost reduction and process optimization. Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred. Alternatively, a high school diploma with 5-7 years of relevant experience is acceptable. At least 6 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management with a focus on strategic sourcing. Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish relationships at all organizational levels. Solid analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
