Responsibilities
The base hourly pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.60. If you are hired, your base pay rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base pay range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued wage growth.

About the Team
Sierra Aluminum is a vertically integrated aluminum extrusion mill providing standard, custom and OEM aluminum products that range from basic mill finished extrusions all the way to finished, fabricated shapes. With in-house value added services such as anodizing, painting, thermal improvement, fabrication and specialized packaging, we ensure consistent quality products delivered on time.

Responsibilities
- Run the dies through the caustic solution to clean excess aluminum out of the die
- Blast the die to clean any additional excess material from the die
- Assemble and break down tooling assemblies
- Make sure the dies are clean and there are no remaining aluminum remnants left
- Die storage - putting the dies away and Die retrieval - taking the dies out of storage
- Clean and maintain the caustic areas.
- Assist with general housekeeping in the Die Correction Dept.
- Comply with Company and Health & Safety policies and procedures
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Teamwork is essential, must be willing to work closely and effectively communicate with co-workers.
- Should have the ability to learn skills needed to clean dies.
- Must be able to make simple mathematical calculations.
- Must know all tool stacks and tooling assembly.
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must have the initiative to identify, communicate, and correct problems, as well as adapt to change.
- Must be able to work overtime or "off shift" work hours, as required.
- Must be willing to perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or lead.
