Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) Administrator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated FTZ Administrator to manage the daily operations of our Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ). This role ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and works closely with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and other agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily FTZ operations, including product flow and regulatory reporting.
Coordinate with warehouse personnel for the admission and withdrawal of shipments.
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure compliance with FTZ regulations.
Interface with CBP officials and third-party logistics providers.
Manage the submission of FTZ filings and necessary reconciliations.
Ensure timely submission of Importer Security Filings (ISF) and other required documentation.
Conduct audits to ensure regulatory compliance and maintain proper record-keeping.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
3+ years of experience in import/export compliance, customs documentation, or related customs brokerage/import experience
Solid understanding of U.S. CBP regulations and import/export processes
Experience with inventory control and recordkeeping for government-regulated goods
Strong analytical and organizational skills; detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP a plus)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in or administering a Foreign Trade Zone
Knowledge of steel, metals, or heavy manufacturing environments
Experience working with Customs Brokers, Freight Forwarders, or 3PLs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
