Position OverviewUnited Health Services (UHS) is seeking a compassionate and dependable Home Health Aide to join our Senior Living at Ideal care team. In this facility-based role, you’ll provide personal care and assist residents with daily activities and rehabilitative exercises, helping them maintain dignity, comfort, and as much independence as possible. n$15.00 - $20.74 per hour, depending on experience
nYou will be eligible for benefits if you are hired into a regular position with at least 24 scheduled weekly hours.
nnJob Responsibilities

Provides hands-on assistance with personal care needs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, following each resident’s individualized care plan

Encourages residents to engage in self-care tasks when possible to promote independence, dignity, and a sense of control
n n - n
Assists residents during mealtimes by setting up trays, feeding when necessary, and ensuring dietary modifications are followed according to care plans
n n - n
Helps maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment by making beds, tidying rooms, and reporting any safety concerns
n n - n
Follows infection prevention and control practices at all times and reinforces infection control education under the direction of clinical staff

Observes residents closely and reports any changes in physical condition, mood, behavior, or appetite to the nurse in a timely manner

Assists with basic rehabilitative exercises as directed by therapy staff to support residents’ strength, mobility, and recovery goals

Accurately documents all care provided and observations made, following facility policies and state regulations

Responds promptly and respectfully to resident requests and call bells, providing compassionate and attentive care
n n - n
Builds trusting relationships with residents and their families through consistent, respectful communication and support
n n - n
Collaborates with nursing, therapy, dietary, and housekeeping teams to ensure high-quality, coordinated care

Participates in staff meetings, in-service training, and shift handoffs to stay informed and support team goals

Position Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED and successful completion of a Home Health Aide (HHA) program on track to obtain HHA certification within 12 months of program completion, or

Current HHA certification—diploma/GED is not required if you're currently certified
