We are helping a client find an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist to provide onsite support across all Bay Area office locations, ensuring safe and compliant operations in alignment with internal safety standards and regulatory requirements.
In this role, you will play a key role in day-to-day EHS operations, working closely with site teams to build a proactive safety culture.
As an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist, you'll:

• Conduct routine EHS audits across offices and technical areas (e.g., labs, garages).
n
• Perform job hazard analyses, risk assessments, and PPE evaluations to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
n
• Support incident investigations and root cause analysis for safety incidents.
n
• Create and provide technical EHS guidance to local teams and stakeholders.
n
• Partner with cross-functional teams (i.e., CREWS, VOps, and ADAS/AD) to implement safety improvements.
n
• Assist with EHS training rollout, documentation, and tracking.
n
• Maintain and provide the following documents:n
  n
  • Safety-related records and reports as required
  n
  • Incident support documentation
  n
  • PPE/risk assessments performed
  n
  • Site inspection reports
  n
  n
n

Requirements

n
• Proven 3-5 years of experience in the following:n
  n
  • Providing EHS support (e.g., incident response, compliance audit, assessment, etc.) in an office or R&D environment
  n
  • Supporting emergency response plans, drills, and business continuity efforts
  n
  n
n
• Working knowledge of California OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and DOT regulations and best practices
n
• Ability to conduct risk assessment, conduct investigation, and recommend corrective/prevention actions
n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage site teams effectively
n
• Ability to travel between Palo Alto, East Palo Alto, Sunnyvale, and Mountain View, as needed
