Structural Engineer

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Structural Engineer that will be overseeing and helping with new projects in the Texas markets. Your main responsibilities will include planning, monitoring, and managing the structural engineering scope to schedule and budget for successful project completion.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

n

· Performs quality management reviews of structural designs

n

· Prepares estimates for cost and schedule of structural engineering services

n

· Conducts on-site investigations and evaluations of existing structures, including the preparation of reports

n

· Coordinates details of design between various project design disciplines

n

· Assists CADD technicians in developing presentations of structural designs

n

· Prepares and reviews opinions of construction costs for structural portion of projects

n

· Assists in continuing development and improvement of structural design standards, specifications, and typical details

n

· Develops project-specific designs, standards, specifications and details for unusual or unique situations

Skills and Requirements

n

· Bachelor's degree

n

· 7+ years of experience

n

o preferably in the design of water and wastewater treatment structures

n

· Registration as a Professional Engineer -Experience with Microstation or AutoCAD

n

-Registration as a Structural Engineer null

n
