We are seeking SRE – Observability Engineer to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our systems. You will be responsible for designing and implementing observability solutions that provide insights into system health and performance.

Responsibilities

nnn

n
Design, implement, and maintain observability solutions (monitoring, logging, tracing) across complex distributed systems using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, OBM or Datadog.
n

n
Develop and manage telemetry pipelines to collect and process metrics, logs, and traces from infrastructure, platforms, and applications.
n

nnn

n
Collaborate with development and operations teams to define SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets, ensuring system reliability and performance goals are met.
n

nnn

n
Automate observability, tooling deployment and configuration using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Helm.
n

nnn

n
Create actionable dashboards and alerts that provide real-time insights and support proactive incident response and root cause analysis.
n

nnn

n
Perform root cause analysis during incidents using correlation of logs, metrics, and traces, and lead blameless postmortems.
n

nnn

n
Integrate observability into CI/CD pipelines and support progressive delivery practices like canary releases and blue-green deployments.
n

nnn

n
Leverage scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, Go, or JavaScript) to develop custom plugins, collectors, or automation tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduate or postgraduate in Technology with Computers or Information Technology (IT) stream.

A degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering or a related qualification

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Proven experience in site reliability engineering or observability roles.

Proficiency in monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.

Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python or Bash.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to take independent initiative when needed

Capital Markets Domain knowledge is preferred.
