nhigh performing Senior Electrical Systems
nEngineer to join the Navigation Systems
n(NAVSYS) team in Denver, Colorado.
nIn this role you will:
n• Perform electrical performance and integration,
npower modeling, channelization/electrical
ninterconnect management, interface
ncompatibility analysis, and manage electrical
nsubsystem designs to ensure compliance with
nthe spacecraft level technical baseline,
nmaintaining end-to-end compatibility, functional
nallocations, and margins
n• Perform verification and validation flow for key
nsystem level electrical requirements
n• Perform risk mitigation activities for complex
ninterfaces to ensure a smooth integration at the
nsystem level
n• Collaborate with and support Flight Software,
nIntegration & Test (I&T), and subsystem RSEs
nduring assembly, integration, test phases, and
nlaunch of the space vehicle, including leading or
nsupporting anomaly investigations as appropriate
n• Analyze and troubleshoot spacecraft design,
ncommand and control and mission data
nprocessing
n• Foster communication and coordinate technical
nchanges between subsystems including EPS,
nC&DH, Propulsion, Mechanical, Thermal, GN&C,
nMechanisms, Communications, Software, and
nPayloads
n• Support Subsystem Responsible Systems
nEngineers (RSE) and the Space Vehicle RSE, the
ntechnical advocate for the satellite throughout its
nlifecycle, from requirements definition through mission operations; the RSE verifies that the
nsatellite aligns with both Command Media and
nprogram technical requirements, and resists
ninappropriate compromise and risk, checks
nprogrammatic decisions, and balances technical
nperformance, cost, schedule, and risk, while
nensuring mission success.
nBasic Qualifications:
n• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Math, Physics
nor other related field or equivalent combination
nof education and work experience
n• Experience coordinating with multiple
nengineering functions (Mechanical, Electrical,
nSystems, Flight Sciences, Materials,
nManufacturing, Test, etc.)
n• Space segment design and/or test experience
n• Willingness to travel for launch campaigns
n• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and
nmaintain a DoD Secret security clearance
nDesired Skills:
n• Electrical Systems Engineering (ESE) and
nintegration experience
n• Experience with telemetry systems, flight
noperations, and/or electrical design

nWork Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
nSchedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
nPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
