About the Role:
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, including obtaining patient histories and vital signs.
- Maintain and prepare examination and treatment rooms with necessary supplies.
- Administer injections and assist with laboratory testing and phlebotomy.
- Support physicians during minor surgeries and physicals.
- Manage phone communications and referrals efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program or one year of relevant clinical experience.
- Must obtain Medical Assistant Certification within one year of hire if not currently certified.
- Preferred certifications include RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA.
