Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee carpentry and woodworking projects, from planning and budgeting to scheduling and vendor coordination.
Provide mentorship and training to the carpentry team on tools, equipment, and project best practices.
Carry out maintenance and repair tasks including wood touch-ups, drywall patching, painting, door repairs, and lock maintenance.
Engage in woodworking projects such as custom furniture fabrication and furniture repair.
Participate in special off-site projects that may require travel.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
10+ years of relevant construction experience in areas such as carpentry, wood finishing, painting, plumbing, lighting maintenance, and flooring installation.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations regarding PPE and bloodborne pathogens.
