nnWhat does this role look like?
n• Design consists of console level, box level, and board level equipment. The equipment is used to issue commands and receive, process, display, and archive telemetry.
n• We’re looking for experienced, passionate, committed individual who will take ownership of the design, production, deployment, and operation of the complex test equipment we deliver.
nnKey activities you will accomplish in this role:
n• Use the latest electrical design techniques and tools to create test equipment.
n• Work on complex electronic designs that are critical to meeting integration and test and which has high visibility to senior customers and program management.
n• Interact across disciplines such as systems engineering, flight hardware design, test engineering, and program management.
nnTypical mins for this role:
n• 5+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor's; or 3+ years of professional experience with a Master's degree.
n• Willing and able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI/Poly clearance , thus you are a US Citizen .
nnTo be effective in this role, you will need:

nBasic Qualifications:
n• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Considered an emerging authority.
n• Experience with analog or digital design.
n• Experience with industry standard electrical interfaces; i.e. RS-232, RS-422, SpaceWire, TCP/IP, UDP.
n• Experience in a lab troubleshooting electronics.
n• Experience with or knowledge of current programming languages: Python, LabView, C++.
n• Willing and able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI/Poly clearance . Thus US Citizenship is required.
nDesired Skills:
n• Experience with or knowledge of typical electronic test equipment: oscilloscopes, DMM's, logic analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, power meters.
n• Experience with automated fault detection to protect high value flight hardware.
n• Understanding of electrical physics and how it relates to current and data flow in electronics.
n• Experience with network design and network protocols: TCP/IP, latency, UDP.
n• Experience with cryptographic equipment.

nAbility to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
nWork Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
nSchedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
nPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
