YOUR HOURS AS A SENIOR TAX ACCOUNTANT
This remote position requires occasional travel and offers a schedule of 9 am - 5 pm, Monday-Friday.
WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE?
As a Senior Tax Accountant, your day is a mix of independent work and collaborative team efforts. You prepare and review a variety of complex tax returns, including individual, business, partnership, and trust returns, ensuring every detail is accurate and compliant with the latest tax laws. You'll master 1040s and various state returns, applying your deep expertise in accounting to verify all data. Your communication skills shine as you confidently explain complex tax matters to clients via email and phone, building trust and providing peace of mind. Although you work remotely, you're always connected, contributing to the team's success and growing your professional knowledge daily.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and apply tax law accurately
• Excellent client communication skills - confident in explaining complex tax matters
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluent in Drake Tax Software or adaptable with proven experience in other platforms
• Being EA, CPA, or CPA-eligible is strongly preferred
