Summary
This position requires a strong understanding of the WMC investment philosophy and the ability to communicate the Private Client Services (PCS) capabilities effectively to Wealth Management Advisors (WMAs), their staff, clients, and prospects. The role involves assisting PCS Portfolio Managers in managing accounts according to WMC's investment philosophy, managing a personal book valued between $300 million and $500 million, and supporting the overall PCS team under supervision.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Update portfolio management models daily using platform systems to support efficient delivery of discretionary investment capabilities.
- Assist in business growth by creating and analyzing investment proposals for prospective clients.
- Conduct proposal review calls and participate in client meetings to showcase PCS capabilities, fostering long-term relationships.
- Guide the field on trust and discretionary investment strategies, programs, and procedures.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with current PCS clients through portfolio review calls and market education.
- Monitor client portfolios and execute trades aligned with investment objectives, assisting in trade monitoring and order allocation.
- Facilitate global allocation trades across a book exceeding $4.8 billion.
- Prepare portfolio review materials and perform compliance reviews to adhere to regulations.
- Participate in process improvements and act as a liaison across departments.
- Handle additional responsibilities and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree; progress toward CFA, CFP, CAIA, MBA, or related designation preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in investment or fiduciary management.
- Knowledge of investment strategies, financial markets, and economic metrics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Bloomberg, Excel, Word.
- Problem-solving skills and relationship management abilities.
- Ability to produce clear, organized documentation and presentations.
- Non-Registered Fingerprinted FINRA clearance.
- This is a hybrid role based in Milwaukee.
Compensation
Range: $76,650 - $142,350. Final salary depends on experience, skills, and location. Additional pay structures may apply for certain locations.
